If you have a pre-2022 car with Carplay facilities, you will know that you will need to connect your mobile phone via a USB connection to be able to make use of your car’s CarPlay. However cars from 2022 onwards now support un-tethered mobile phone connections to Carplay. The good news is that now there are some devices on the market that will give you those same un-tethered capabilities on older cars.
