Shortly after publishing a recent blog discussing the support of older/unsupported Apple Mac computers with more recent Mac operating systems via the OpenCore Legacy Patcher (OCLP), and while going through the process of installing both Ventura and Sonoma on my old 2011 Macbook Pro previously running High Sierra; I discovered information about a new version of OCLP in a YouTube video here from Jessie’s Flying. This discusses the latest and more sophisticated capabilities in OCLP that you can now download from the OCLP website here. Using OCLP 1.5.0 I am now successfully running MacOS Sonoma 14.5 on my non-Metal GPU equipped Macbook, so I can safely say that this new version seems to work just fine!!
